Tiferet /ti’fair-‘et/ — glorious splendor

Our name was born from the Kabbalistic terminology Tiferet, representing the harmonious blending of varying colors and forms, producing a work of majestic beauty.

The word tiferet is derived from the Hebrew word pe’er, meaning “glory” or “magnificence”. Tiferet is the attribute of Jewish Mysticism, which represents merging the benevolent and expansive flow of kindness, and the restrictive severity of strength. The essential characteristic of Tiferet is in its ability to unify opposite traits.

Tiferet painting and wallcovering was initially founded to construct a bridge between the desire for quality and price resulting in value, essentially creating a harmonious union between two opposing realities in commercial painting. 15 years later, Tiferet has grown exponentially, and entered a new age of servicing clients with a top quality product provided with a seamless concierge experience;

Steven Leanse

Born and raised in Los Angeles, Steven J. Leanse, founded Tiferet Painting & Wallcovering with over 25 years experience in paint sales and 16 years in contract painting and wallcovering. At Tiferet, Steven has built a dream team of professionals with extensive experience in all facets of the trade. He believes in providing his customers with Total Quality Services and a concierge experience from the initial bid to the final walk through. Steven enjoys hiking, camping, and spending time with his family and friends. Sunday afternoons you’ll find him grilling up a storm on his Traeger smoker Bar B Q.

Robin Leanse

Robin Leanse, the Vice President of Tiferet Company Inc., spent 5 years learning the business while simultaneously working towards a BA in Business Management at Touro College Los Angeles. Since his graduation 3 years ago, Robin became the driving force behind Tiferet’s endeavor to create a seamless client and subcontractor partnership. It is with his determination and focus that he aims to propel Tiferet Painting and Wallcovering into its 2nd decade of unparalleled customer service and satisfaction. Tiferet Painting and Wallcovering is the culmination of three generations of Leanses in thhe painting business, something Robin takes pride in, and what drives him everyday. When not in the office Robin enjoys spenidng time with his wife Alize and new daughter Noa. Robin is an avid sports fan and frequently treats his clients to a game.
